The 25 W Core i5-1235U offers no significant gains over the year-old Core i5-1135G7 or Core i7-1165G7 based on our early in-house benchmark results. The 12th gen chip almost feels like a rebrand in many ways. For more performance, users will want to look at the Core i7-1260P instead.
