Angry fans accuse Hideo Kojima of betrayal for collaborating with Xbox, Kojima clarifies studio is just pursuing all possibilities

A section of PlayStation fans doesn't seem to be too happy with the just announced partnership between developer Hideo Kojima and Xbox on an upcoming title that would leverage the Xbox cloud infrastructure. They have taken to online petitions to voice their concerns, but Kojima clarified that work with Sony will continue just as usual.

He is really just going where the money is atm however Ps users have been able to play a few titles we couldnt on Xb. Really we should everybody wish for kojima studios to make all titles for all fans despite their allegiance. No boundries just good games for whatever means you get access to. This is the way.

He is an independent studio, he's going to go where he gets the best deal and resources to do what he is attempting to achieve. I don't have a playstation, so it has been awhile since I've been able to enjoy his games and I am excited to see what he has to offer this go round. Not everybody can afford multiple consoles. These people are jumping the gun before anything has even materialized. So far it seems he is looking to leverage azure cloud technology, it is not locked into xbox only... that would defeat the purpose of cloud technology. For all they know, it may very well be multiplatform and we all get to enjoy it instead of arguing over what console is better
