Apple iPhone SE 2: New rumour throws upcoming US$399 "budget" smartphone into doubt

If you were underwhelmed by the renders of the iPhone SE 2, then a new rumour doing the rounds may whet your appetite. How about a device the size of an iPhone 8 but with a 5.4-inch screen and Face ID, instead? Such a design would certainly look more modern than what we have seen of the iPhone SE 2 until now, at any rate.

I strongly doubt if an A13 device with a high screen-body ratio, FaceID and up to date camera could sell for as little as $399. The original rumor sounded more likely, or if this A13 is actually A12 or A11, then also plausible.

Noone wants SE the size of iphone 8.
Iphone SE was out at the same time as 6 and 8 and people were buying it for its compact size.
