AMD Ryzen Threadripper Zen 2 hits 4.17 GHz in Geekbench, obliterating the Threadripper 2950X, Ryzen 9 3900X and Intel Core i9-9900K in the process

A new 32 core AMD Ryzen Threadripper Zen 2 processor has appeared on Geekbench, following the one spotted by @momomo_us earlier this month. The chip seems like a downclocked version of the one that almost hit 100,000 in Geekbench, but it can still reach nearly 4.2 GHz and leave existing CPUs in its wake in multi-core work.
