While Gigabyte has discreetly changed the design of its Aero notebooks, it remains true to its previous line. With the Aero 15 OLED XA, buyers are greeted by a slim and powerful notebook with many connections. We find out in our test what performance exactly you can expect.

So no DPC latency check? It's too bad because this laptop seems good for content creation but former Aero laptops have suffered from high DPC latency issues, which is a big problem for content creation...

There's absolutely zero chance that an OLED panel does not cover sRGB. Something went wrong when you measured the screen - did you have any software settings or profile activated ?

I got the 1660Ti + 240hz IGZO version. Mostly love it but the keyboard is very bad. Hate typing on it.

I´ll second the screen tests, there's no way the tests are precise (or are they  :-[ ).

They promote the product as having a delta E lower than 1, and it shows it at 6 here, also, whats the typical contrast ratio? something seems off here.

We measured the laptop as it came with X-Rite Pantone active. I noticed that some results (colorspace, color-precision) were strange, because other notebooks with the same panel achieve better scores, but a second test lead to the same results. I can only imagine that the Aero had some other option active in the background, which messed up the results, or there was a fault/problem with Gigabytes X-Rite profile.

Unfortunately, a miracle did not happen. And as on other laptops with OLED panel disgusting and afwul PWM. Even as a gift, such a screen is not needed. Color space is extremely mediocre - 90% in 2019 for 2,700 euros! Gigabyte is crazy! $ 100 smartphones have the much more!

By the way, I would measure the contrast in the light of day in the room, I'm sure it will not be infinite due to the illumination to neighboring pixels. Experiencing with the screens of smartphones in the daylight has repeatedly proved that a good IPS looks better in normal office lighting than any AMOLED panel. Not to mention the flicker.

The keyboard is again is bad,  with a disfigured digital block. As however, like all сhinese manufacturers.. Why do the сhinese manufacturers constantly install an right arrow to the place of "Insert"? This destroys all fast typing into blind typing, as well as navigation (file managers and developing), for those who are used to constantly switching from a normal desktop keyboard to this squalor. The best keyboard on gaming laptops - has a Omen 15.6" 2018. The standard! MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, Acer and other chinese manufacturers, do the same variant, otherwise your laptops will not buy, because people need  work and play on nootebooks. This is a universal solution!

The noise alone is again the traditional Achilles heel of the Gigabyte/ Gentlemen, the developers of a gaming laptop should not switch on coolers in the office workload and surfing at all!

This is not only a Gigabyte problem in this series, it is the Achilles heel of the entire Dell G. Latency is monstrous and 10 times bigger than it should be. Gigabyte and Dell drivers are to blame!

Yes, totally agree that Dell users are facing the same issue, though Dell seems to have made improvements on latest 7590 BIOS. It's not perfect but at least they are working on it. Gigabyte just stays silent about that and answer customers they don't see an issue here...

No way that's he real color coverage. Look up review @hexus . They got 100% coverage of Adobe. In another review they mentioned 250% of segno color gamut.
Considering what a breakthrough is to have OLED on laptops, considering this website reputation, you didn't do a thorough job by trying to troubleshoot the issue. Shame
